Registration Now Open for Gridiron Home Inc. 2026 Glow Run in Lower Burrell
Families, runners, walkers, sponsors, and community supporters are invited to register for a family-friendly glow run supporting free youth programming
LOWER BURRELL, PA. - Registration is now open for the Gridiron Home Inc. 2026 Glow Run, taking place on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at K-9 Officer Derek Kotecki Memorial Park, 730 Wildlife Lodge Road, Lower Burrell, PA 15068.
The family-friendly event will bring together youth, families, runners, walkers, volunteers, sponsors, and community supporters for an evening of games, face painting, music, food vendors, community activities, and the official Gridiron Home Glow Run.
Participant registration begins at 7:00 PM, followed by pre-run festivities from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. The official Glow Run will take place from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.
Registration is $15 per person, with options available for both runners and attendees. All registered children will receive an official event T-shirt.
“The Glow Run is a chance for our community to come together around something joyful, active, and meaningful,” said Rob Hamilton of Gridiron Home. “Every registration helps us continue creating opportunities for young people to grow in confidence, resilience, and connection.”
Since launching, Gridiron Home has served more than 100 youth through resilience-based programming that combines mentorship, social-emotional learning, and sport. The organization’s programs remain free to participating youth and families, and funds raised through the Glow Run help support that mission.
Participants can register as runners, attend as supporters, create or join a fundraising team, sponsor a child’s registration, or support the event through donations and sponsorships. The Sponsor a Kid option allows donors to cover the $15 registration cost for a child who may otherwise be unable to participate.
“This event is about more than one night,” Hamilton said. “It is about making sure every child has access to encouragement, mentorship, and a community that believes in them. We want every family to know they are welcome.”
Community members, businesses, and organizations are also invited to support the event through sponsorships, volunteer support, food vendor participation, entertainment, and donations of prizes or giveaways. Available sponsorship opportunities include the Main Event & T-Shirt Sponsor, Glow Package Sponsor, Start Line Sponsor, Finish Line Sponsor, Top Fundraiser Sponsor, and Community Event Sponsor.
