Gridiron Home, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, committed to redefining youth sports development across southwestern Pennsylvania. We exist to make structured, high-quality sports programming accessible to all young people, regardless of financial circumstances, so every child has the opportunity to grow, compete, and build the confidence needed to succeed in life.

While football is at the heart of our programming, we embrace a multi-sport approach to develop well-rounded athletes, foster teamwork, and build character. Through mentorship, skill-building, and community engagement, we provide a transformative platform for young athletes to thrive both on and off the field.

Unlike many youth sports programs that charge hundreds of dollars in registration fees, Gridiron Home provides completely free access to structured training, mentorship, and events.

Our Origin

Gridiron was founded by Rob Hamilton, a U.S. Army veteran, community leader, and coach whose life story is rooted in resilience, accountability, and growth. After overcoming significant personal challenges and later leading complex human services systems, Hamilton saw firsthand how structure, mentorship, and high expectations can change a young person’s trajectory.

Gridiron was born from that lived experience. Not as a traditional sports program, but as a home, a place where young athletes are supported, challenged, and believed in, often before they believe in themselves.

Our Vision

We envision a future where youth sports serve as a catalyst for lifelong success, where young people leave Gridiron not just better athletes, but stronger leaders, teammates, and community members.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support youth development through sports and engage them in positive coping skills and strength-based support. We do this by operating with E.D.G.E., the core framework that guides every decision we make:
